This day you will travel through some of the most beautiful rural territory's of Panama. The first part of the trip goes through 4x4 country, the wilderness South East of Boquete Have your camera ready for big stunning views. Close to the village of Paja de Sombrero, we will enjoy a cup of coffee with a snack on the banks of a beautiful Jungle river. Next our travel will bring us through the Fortuna forest reserve over the impressive Fortuna dam, if you wish we will have a look around and explain. We will continue the journey passing the Continental divide and into the Comarca of the Ngöbe-Buglé. The jungle will quickly change from lush cloud forest into thick rain forest. We will stop close to Chiriqui Grande for lunch at a typical Panamanian restaurant. From here we will travel over the very beautiful coastal road to Almirante. The road passes through the jungle, banana and pineapple plantations and Ngöbe-Buglé Indigenous settlements. We can stop at one of the settlements and if you wish you can visit and meet a Ngöbe Indigenous family and visit there organic cocoa farm** (chocolate, see option 1). You will be amazed to see the fully organic way the Ngöbe farm and their love for the forest and wildlife. Also you have the possibility to see and we will explain how the Peace corps and Panama are helping the Ngöbe tribe. We can stop where ever you wish, so you can enjoy the views, the landscape and the people. You will have lots of questions, with the use of stories we will answer them with humor and you will see the real Panama up close and personal.. Our adventure brings you to Almirante where the water taxi is waiting for you and where we will say goodbye. A beautiful +/-35 min boat trip will bring you to Bocas town on Isla Colon, you will be there middle to late afternoon +/-4.30PM. Exclusive and only for your party!
